What is my idea?

What are action films?

My idea is to create an essay about the action film genre and Michael Bay (Bayhem)
The reason this is my idea is because I am a very big fan of action films, I love to create films that revolve around fighting and Michael Bay is one of my favourite directors because of the heavy use of explosions and action as seen in the transformers films.

I am investigating the action genre, what constitutes, what makes it up / elements.

I need to investigate director styles/techniques.

Look at the history of direction of being a director for action films. Show the developed/evolved
What were the original action films.
